Summary from Comixology: All right! The very first Bob’s Burgers comic book, a new series from the creator of the hit TV show, created by Loren Bouchard! Now you can read about the Belcher family (parents Bob and Linda, and their children Tina, Gene and Louise) in brand-new in-canon stories created by the TV show’s producers, writers and animators creating all original stories appearing exclusively in this comics series. Each comic includes hilarious installments of: “Louise’s Unsolved Mysteries,” “Tina’s Erotic Friend Fiction,” “A Gene Belcher Original Musical,” “Letters Written by Linda” and “Bob’s Burgers of the Day.” Bob’s Burgers is an American animated sitcom that airs on Fox television with other hits such as The Simpsons and Family Guy!”

Overview:
I’m going to be completly honest, I LOVE BOB’S BURGERS. It’s my favorite TV show, and that’s coming from the worlds biggest Simpsons fan! Each episode is non stop laughs and the comic is the same way. If you are familiar with The Simpsons comics then you know they are broken into several short stories in each issue, and that’s exactly how Bob’s Burgers reads. If you are a fan of this show, you NEED to be reading this book. For me, I could read the characters in their voices and it made the book all that more hilarious.

The Good:
Everything about this comic was amazing. The first story is Tina based called “My So-Called Life as a Horse” and it’s the closest I’ve gotten to a My Little Pony comic. But if you know Tina, you know about her weird Horse fetish thing, and there are some serious funny lines. My favorite story though was “Gene Belcher presents ‘The Boy in the Burger’ The Musical,” I’ve never read a musical in a comic medium, but it worked really well. It reminded me of something right out of their show, and that made me love it all the more. They even include and awesome Food Truck Paper Cut-Out from the episode Food Truckin’!

The Bad:
I was a little worried when I saw the $3.99 sticker price, but after reading the comic it was worth every single penny.

The Final Say:
Go. Buy. This! Seriously one of the funniest comics I have ever read, I would dare say it was as hilarious as Rocket Raccoon #1. Seriously, if you have watched this show any, you really need to read this. It’s a solid 4 out of 4 . Don’t miss out on this comic, you’ll regret it and it won’t stay on the shelves for as long as Louise’s hat has stayed on!
